JTB welcomes new Business Development Officer, Quebec & Eastern Canada

KINGSTON, JAMAICA — The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) in Canada has appointed Daniel Stubbs as a new Business Development Officer.

Based in Montreal, Stubbs will be responsible for overseeing business development in Quebec and Eastern Canada.

Prior to his new role, Stubbs worked at John Paul Conciergerie as the first point of contact for ultra-high net worth clients with VISA Infinite Privilege Canada, and was quickly promoted to JPMorgan Chase. He also worked at Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts and Caribbean Castle Resorts and Villas, representing various hotel properties across the Caribbean and Europe.

“Daniel is a great fit for his role as he is armed with the drive, skills and leadership qualities that will be integral to his role as a Business Development Officer overseeing Canada’s Quebec and Atlantic markets,” said Angella Bennett, Regional Director, Jamaica Tourist Board Canada. “Daniel is also a Jamaican Canadian and extremely congenial and a clear representation of the rhythm and heartbeat of Jamaica. We are so pleased to welcome Daniel to our team.”

On joining the JTB, Stubbs said: “I am thrilled to be joining such a dynamic and enthusiastic team. My accumulated 10+ years of experience in tourism and hospitality will be key to helping elevate Destination Jamaica in the Quebec and Eastern Canada markets.”
