TORONTO — Jane True and True Rainbow Tours Inc. plead guilty to one count each of operating as a travel wholesaler without registration contrary to section 4(1)(b) of the Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002.

True and True Rainbow Tours Inc. operated in Niagara Falls and elsewhere in Ontario. No consumers suffered financial losses as a result of the actions of the defendants.

True was previously a Vice-President and shareholder of Rainbow Tour & Reception Inc., a wholesaler, which voluntarily terminated its registration under the Act on March 21, 2011.

The guilty plea by the defendants was accepted and convictions registered. True was fined $3,000. True Rainbow Tours Inc. received a suspended sentence.
