Intrepid Travel celebrates Agent Appreciation Day with dream trip giveaway

TORONTO — Travel agents spend 365 days a year finding the perfect trip for their clients. On May 6, Intrepid Travel will be returning the favour.

In celebration of Travel Agent Appreciation Day, Intrepid Travel will be sending one lucky agent on the Intrepid trip of their choice. Travel agents across Canada are being asked to submit their dream tour at intrepidtravel.com/agentday to be entered in the draw. In addition to the giveaway agents can also enjoy a free Urban Adventure if they book an Intrepid Travel tour on May 6.

The Urban Adventure can be used for personal travel or on a client booking.

The giveaway marks the first time Intrepid Travel has participated in Agent Appreciation Day. The four-year old celebration was started by a group of agency owners, giving clients and operators alike the opportunity to say thank you to agents, one that Intrepid Travel is keen to take advantage of.

“We will take each and every opportunity to show our appreciation for the Travel Agent community,” says Ron Fenska, Vice President of Sales for Intrepid Travel. “We know matching clients with the perfect experience is no easy task and are grateful when agents decide to book them with Intrepid.”

This also provides agents with a unique opportunity to visit one of Intrepid’s more off the beaten path destinations; places the typical fam trip would not go.

“Agents can choose from over 1,000 different tours on six different continents,” adds Kaitlyn Duggan, Industry Marketing Manager for Intrepid Travel. “Aside from our Polar and sell-in product almost every itinerary is up for grabs. This includes the remote regions like Mongolia, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Iran, as well as traveller favourites like Vietnam, Morocco and Peru.”

The Travel Agent Appreciation Day celebrations take place on May 6. Agents can enter and find full details at intrepidtravel.com/agentday.
