MONTEGO BAY — Sandals Resorts is expanding its destination wedding offerings in Jamaica with a free wedding package for qualifying 2027 bookings and a new collection of private Island Routes experiences for couples and their guests.

The new offerings come as Sandals continues a US$200 million transformation across Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Caribbean Cay and Sandals South Coast, with new accommodations, dining concepts and gathering spaces being introduced at the three all-inclusive resorts.

The changes include accommodations geared toward honeymooners, wedding parties and groups, including Sandals’ first double queen suites.

FREE WEDDING PACKAGE

As part of its renewed focus on celebrations in Jamaica, Sandals is offering a free upgraded Sweetheart Wedding Package at Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Caribbean Cay or Sandals South Coast for qualifying weddings taking place in 2027.

Couples who book a minimum five-night stay in a Club or Butler category room for travel in 2027 will receive the package for weddings of up to 50 guests.

Inclusions range from a dedicated wedding planning team and ceremony venue to a bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, private cocktail reception and wedding cake.

The package also provides photography and videography credits, spa savings, honeymoon amenities and waived Jamaica marriage licence and administrative fees, valued at US$250.

The offer is available for elopements, petite weddings and micro-weddings.

Sandals South Coast, Overwater Villas

NEW CELEBRATION COLLECTION

Sandals is also taking celebrations beyond the resort with the new Celebration Collection by Island Routes.

Available in Jamaica, the collection consists of private experiences created for proposals, destination weddings, vow renewals and milestone celebrations.

Options include private catamaran sailings, waterfall and secluded cove adventures, luxury beachside lunches, artisanal chocolate and rum pairings, Jamaican culinary masterclasses, bamboo river rafting and cultural tours through Montego Bay and historic Falmouth.

The collection is designed to give couples and their guests opportunities to incorporate more of Jamaica into their celebrations while travelling together.

Sandals also points to Jamaica’s recent recognition as the Caribbean’s most peaceful destination in the Global Peace Index as another selling point for couples considering the destination.

THREE RESORTS, THREE WEDDING SETTINGS

The ongoing renovations at Sandals’ three Jamaican properties are also bringing new options for wedding groups.

At Sandals Montego Bay, the flagship resort where the Sandals brand began, couples can hold ceremonies overlooking the beach while incorporating several new food and beverage concepts into their wedding stays.

New experiences include Jamaica’s first waterfront Buccan, Bay Roc Rum Club, Scrimshaw and Parisol Beach Club. New Swim-Up Suites and Oceanview accommodations are also being added.

At Sandals Caribbean Cay, the resort’s offshore Sandals Cay provides a setting for ceremonies and waterfront celebrations.

New and updated experiences include family-style dining at Suppa, cocktails at Keynote Rum Bar and a new Parisol Beach Club on Sandals Cay.

Accommodation options include new SkyPool Suites, refreshed Overwater Butler Villas and Beachfront Swim-Up Suites.

Sandals South Coast, meanwhile, offers a more secluded setting within a 500-acre nature preserve.

New and updated offerings include BLUM for Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee and Butch’s Island Chop House. Couples and their guests can choose from refreshed Overwater Butler Villas as well as the new Silver Sun Beachfront Club Two Queen Junior Suites, the first of their kind for Sandals and an option designed to give wedding parties and friends more ways to stay together.

Sandals is also promoting its Great Jamaica Comeback Sale for weddings, anniversaries and romantic getaways.

The promotion includes up to US$1,500 in instant credit, up to US$350 in air credit when booked with Unique Vacations Inc. and a complimentary Jamaican adventure.

Bookings must be made by Sept. 7, 2026 for qualifying stays through Dec. 25, 2027. Savings and inclusions vary depending on length of stay and travel dates.
