Hong Kong launches Specialist program with chance to visit the city

TORONTO — The Hong Kong Tourism Board is launching the Hong Kong Specialist program  for Canadian agents through Travelweek’s Learning Centre.

It’s an online training course designed to provide an indepth understanding of Asia’s World City, equipping agents with the latest knowledge to sell one of the most popular Asian destinations for Canadians.

Enroll and complete the program before July 31, 2014 for a chance to win a trip to Hong Kong, including a roundtrip Premium Economy Class ticket courtesy of Cathay Pacific Airways, accommodation, airport transfers, tours and more. Terms and conditions apply.

“We’re excited to launch the Canadian version of the new Hong Kong Specialist program. The objective is to equip agents with up-to-date information and knowledge of Hong Kong as a must-see Asian destination. There are three modules in the course, made up of topics such as history, destination information, new products and new tools and apps which will help agents sell Hong Kong to their clients,” says Michael Lim, Director – Canada, Central & South America, Hong Kong Tourism Board.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board has teamed up with Cathay Pacific Airways to offer the great prize – a trip to Hong Kong. The lucky agent will enjoy five nights in Hong Kong enjoying the sites, and fly to the destination enjoying Cathay Pacific’s Premium Economy service roundtrip.
