Goway offers special deals for singles on African tours

TORONTO — Goway says it has negotiated excellent deals for single travellers to pay the twin share rate on select hotels, lodges and tours in Africa.

On Goway’s best-selling 14-day South African World in one Country tour there is no single supplement charged for the first two singles travelling on the last departure each month.

Instead, they pay the normal twin-share rate (but have their own room). Similarly, on several East Africa safaris to Kenya and Tanzania, the first two passengers pay only the twin-share rate as well, including Essential Tanzania – 9 Days, Essential Kenya – 8 Days, East African Safari.

Another unique idea for singles is a train journey on the one-of-a-kind Shongololo Express, experiencing the magic of rail travel in Africa. This South African ‘cruise-train’ carries its own fleet of mini vans used to take passengers on daily guided sightseeing drives.

This unique train safari travels between destinations at night with guests exploring the regional attractions during the day on board air-conditioned vehicles. In summer, travellers can opt for a June departure on the Southern Cross, a 17-day journey between Johannesburg and Victoria Falls that visits six countries.

If your clients are set on travelling to Africa this summer and wanted to travel on a high-end, fully escorted tour in a small group, Goway’s flagship Holiday of a Lifetime tour series features a number of summer departures. For singles there is a twin-share guarantee. The Magic of Africa summer departure is on the Aug. 14, 2014.
