Goway names new VP Air

TORONTO — Scott Roseblade has a new title at Goway Travel: VP Air.

Roseblade has been with Goway since 2000, when he started as a Sales Consultant for U.S. Wholesale. He moved to a Team Leader role within that division before becoming Reservations Manager for US Wholesale & US Air Desk.

He then advanced to become Reservations Manager for GowayAir (Complex & Webfares) and most recently, GM for GowayAir.

“With 24 years of industry experience and unparalleled knowledge of our business, Scott was the obvious choice to take the Goway Air team forward,” says the company.

Roseblade will be responsible for the continued growth of all air sales channels at Goway. This includes further development of B2B air consolidation for both call centre and online sales, and the trade in both Canada and the U.S.

One priority will be the expansion of Goway’s Complex Air sales desk, offering unique air options to the retail travel agent community. Goway has global net air fare programs and strong partnerships with 60+ of the world’s top airlines and offers air solutions for both Canada and the U.S. to destinations across the world.

Goway COO John Feenaghty noted a special thanks to Jim Morrison “for his amazing work in growing the Goway Air division”. Morrison will stay with the Goway business until December and will assist Roseblade with the transition.
