Globus returns to travel with first official tour since March

TORONTO — Globus has announced its first official tour since March, set to depart this October to one of Canada’s most celebrated destinations.

The five-day ‘Canadian Rockies Escape’, reserved exclusively for Canadians and priced from $999, will depart on Oct. 17 from Calgary to Banff National Park and include a stay at the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa.

“If seeing is believing, the raw, natural paradise of the Canadian Rockies can feel like a mirage of beauty,” said Stéphanie Bishop, managing director for the Globus family of brands. “But this very real, surrounded-by-nature escape offers the peace, the space and the price needed to journey back to travel.”

Guests will be privy to many new health and safety protocols as part of Globus’ ‘On-Trip Assurance’ program. These include pre-trip health screenings and temperature checks, daily health checks, disinfected motorcoaches with touch-ups at every stop, assigned seating, mandatory hand sanitization and luggage disinfection, touch-free meals (no self-service options at hotels or alike), and enhanced disinfection protocols at hand-picked hotels. Guests will also be asked to maintain social distancing whenever possible, and to wear masks when social distancing is not a possibility.

“After months of hitting the pause button on travel, we’re thrilled to push ‘play’ and make our return to travel with fellow Canadian wayfarers and wanderers in our own backyard,” added Bishop. “Bundling unrivalled knowledge from Tour Directors and local guides with first-class accommodations at the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa, we’re ready to invite travellers to say ‘hello’ to the natural wonder of Canada, and ‘goodbye’ to worry.”

Past Globus guests can use their Welcome Back Credit for additional savings when booking ‘Canadian Rockies Escape.’

To provide added peace of mind, Globus family of brands has launched its new ‘Peace of Mind Travel Plan’, which allows guests to move travel dates without incurring cancellation fees, land or airline penalties. For more information go to
