MIAMI — Free and unlimited shore excursions are the norm while onboard an Alaska cruise with Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Its Seven Seas Mariner ship will sail Alaskan waters from late May through August 2017, providing passengers an expansive catalog of free and unlimited shore excursions for the best value. Plus, travellers can take advantage of Regent’s limited-time ‘Book Now Bonus’ offer to receive US$500 shipboard credit per new suite booking to apply toward select Alaska adventures while sailing aboard the ship.
“Shore excursions are particularly important in order to experience the most of Alaska, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers up to 43 free, unlimited shore excursions on our seven-night Alaska voyages,” said Jason Montague, president and CEO of the cruise line. “And with our limited-time ‘Book Now Bonus’ offer, travellers receive a generous shipboard credit to apply toward some incredibly breathtaking, supplementary experiences while sailing aboard Seven Seas Mariner.”
For example, sample shore excursions on Seven Seas Mariner’s July 5 voyage include witnessing iceberg calvings atop Hubbard Glacier, panning for gold in Skagway, hiking at Tongass National Forest (the world’s largest temperate rainforest) in Sitka, cruising in George Inlet, and a catamaran sail in Juneau.
Passengers can apply their $500 shipboard credit toward Regent Choice options, a curated collection of immersive experiences that are available at an additional charge.
On the same July 5 voyage, guests can utilize their shipboard credits on a three-hour sport fishing excursion from Sitka, a rafting ride through the Valley of the Eagles, or a short floatplane ride to Prince of Wales to spot black bears in their natural habitat.
The ‘Book Now Bonus’ offer is valid for bookings made from April 1 through May 31 on all 2017 Alaska voyages. It is combinable the doubled Ambassador Offer for 25th Anniversary voyages, public National Account promotions, and Seven Seas Society savings of up to $700 per suite for returning guests.
Canadian and U.S. travel agents will receive up to a $200 gift card for each new booking they make for their clients in these regions. Guests must register the code ‘Book Now’ at the time of reservation in order to receive the offer. Travel agents must register for the gift card at RSSC.com/booknow by June 14.
