Four new tours with Globus’ Undiscovered Italy, plus EBB savings

TORONTO — As part of its 90th birthday celebration, the Globus family of brands has reinvented its Italy vacations by showcasing ‘Undiscovered Italy’ for clients hoping to taste la dolce vita with four new ‘off-the-beaten-piazza’ tours, and nine tours featuring lesser-known destinations.

New ‘Undiscovered Italy’ tours introduced for 2019 as part of this program include:

GLOBUS

  • Hidden Treasures of Southern Italy (9 days from $2,852 plus airfare) visiting Old Town Bari, Alberobello and its uniquely circular stone ‘Trullo’ homes, Castellana Grotte and Sorrento, gateway to the Amalfi Coast.
  • The Sicilian (10 days from $3,145 plus airfare) to Palermo, the Valley of the Temples dating back to the 6th century BC in Agrigento, Ragusa’s oldest district – the IBLA (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and Mount Etna.

COSMOS

  • Gourmet Tuscany  (8 days from $1,943 plus airfare) to Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, Lucca, the stunning gardens of Palazzo Pfanner and Greve.
  • Apulia, The Heel of Italy (8 days from $1,677 plus airfare) visiting the caves of Castellana Grotte, the picturesque town of Alberobello, Lecce known as the ‘Florence of the South’ and foodie’s paradise Fasano.
