This Wednesday: Travelweek’s ‘AI Unleashed with Claude’ webinar for advisors

TORONTO — Research. Content creation. Itinerary development. Client communications, document analysis, brainstorming and more.

Advisors looking for practical ways to put AI to work in their businesses are invited to tune in this Wednesday, Sept. 23, for Travelweek’s webinar: ‘AI Unleashed with Claude.’

The free session gets underway at 2 p.m. ET and offers a hands-on look at how advisors can use Claude to tackle everyday tasks more efficiently.

The webinar is designed for advisors at all levels of AI experience, including those who are only beginning to explore the technology, says Travelweek’s Publisher, Devin Kinasz.

“For a lot of advisors, the biggest hurdle with AI is simply knowing where to start,” says Kinasz. “This session is about making it approachable and useful.”

The emphasis will be on practical applications that advisors can begin experimenting with right away, from the get-go.

“Advisors already have more than enough on their plates, so any technology has to prove its value pretty quickly,” she said. “If Claude can help you get through research faster, organize information, generate ideas or get a first draft underway, that gives you more time for the work that really needs your expertise.”

CLAUDE IN ACTION

During the Sept. 23 webinar, attendees will see how Claude can be incorporated into a variety of agency workflows.

Examples will include working through large amounts of information, refining client-facing content, assisting with destination and itinerary research, brainstorming marketing ideas and streamlining admin tasks.

Kinasz, host of ‘AI Unleashed with Claude,’ says one of the most useful shifts for advisors is learning to think of AI as a working tool rather than just a content generator.

“The goal isn’t to hand your business over to AI,” she says. “It’s to recognize the parts of your day where you’re spending 20 or 30 minutes on something that might be done in five. Those small efficiencies can really add up over the course of a week.”

She adds that advisor expertise remains central to the process. “AI can help with speed and organization, but it doesn’t replace the knowledge an experienced travel advisor brings to a client relationship. The advisor is still the one applying judgement, understanding the client and making the recommendation. The technology is there to support that.”

DESTINATION SPOTLIGHT: COLOMBIA

This Wednesday’s webinar will also feature Juan Sebastian Sanchez Chica of ProColombia for a destination segment focused on Colombia and its tourism opportunities.

Colombia continues to build its presence in the Canadian market, with tourism experiences spanning culture, nature and adventure, sustainability, community-based tourism, luxury, wellness and sun and beach.

“Canada and Colombia are closer than we think – not just geographically, but in how easily our people connect,” said Sanchez.

PUTTING AI TO WORK

For Kinasz, ‘AI Unleashed with Claude’ is about helping advisors move from curiosity about AI, to finding useful ways to incorporate it into their businesses.

“You don’t have to change the way you run your entire business overnight,” she says. “Start with one or two tasks that take up too much time and see whether AI can help. Once you find something that works, you build from there.”

And with the technology continuing to evolve rapidly, she says now is a good time for advisors to become familiar with the tools available to them.

“The advantage right now is being willing to learn,” says Kinasz. “The advisors who understand what these tools can and can’t do will be in a much better position to decide how they fit into their own businesses.”

AI Unleashed with Claude takes place this Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 2 – 3:30 p.m. ET. Registration is free for travel professionals. Click here to sign up.
