Ensemble Travel Group has named Don Kennedy to the executive position of vice president, business development, North America. Kennedy will oversee new member growth and retention in the U.S. and Canada and manage a sales team aligned to deliver value to its shareholders and preferred partners.
Kennedy’s more than 25 years in the travel and hospitality industry have encompassed a variety of management roles, ranging from strategic planning and field team leadership to new market/new business development and account relationship management, including both national and global responsibilities. His most recent positions include senior vice president of strategy at Toronto-based Corporate Travel Management Solutions (ctms) and senior vice president of business development at TRAVELSAVERS. Other management appointments include Travel Leaders Associate Division (formerly Carlson Wagonlit Travel) where he was vice president of associate division, Travel and Transport as general manager of leisure operations, and AAA as district manager for a club in the Midwest. “Don not only has valuable executive experience, he’s delivered results in the day-to-day sales and agency environment, as well, so he truly understands our members’ total business.
