Ensemble expands global land portfolio with seven new preferred partners

TORONTO — Ensemble Travel Group has added seven new preferred partners to its diverse network of global land suppliers for members in the U.S. and Canada.

Four of the new suppliers – representing London, the Adriatic, Germany and Greenland – focus on the local, authentic feel as part of the Ensemble On Location program, which consists of more than 80 partners in nearly every corner of the world. Three of the newcomers are preferred destination partners: Tourism New Zealand, Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau and Monaco Government Tourist Office, and offer personalized tourism advice and information for individuals, groups and business travel.

“Our members’ success is in direct correlation to the relationships they nurture and grow with their clients. And one way Ensemble supports those efforts is by aligning with partners who can truly enhance the travel experience in ways the consumer cannot do on their own,” said Suzanne Hall, senior director, Ensemble Hotel & Resort Collection/land supplier partnerships. “We feel our destination partnerships are a testament to the growing importance of our Ensemble North American distribution channel.

“While members’ tour bookings were quite strong last year, sales with our On Location partners really skyrocketed, with double-digit growth reported in this segment compared to 2012,” said Hall. The following new On Location partners have joined the program since January 2014:

• Adriatic Excursions – This full-service destination management company specializes in Montenegro and Croatia, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, Sibenik and Porec.

• Culture Trip – Known for customized programs in all of the top destinations in Germany, Culture Trips’ team of art historians, architects, curators and chefs open doors to private homes and collections not available to most travellers.

• Greenland Travel – With 25 years of experience, this new On Location partner is the largest and most experienced specialist in arranging all leisure and business travel year-long in Greenland and the Arctic regions.

• Sincerely Paul – Headed up by the former concierge at the famed Savoy and Dorchester, this London specialist draws on his personal ‘database’ of contacts and experience to deliver VIP service. From air charters or centre court tickets at Wimbledon to a Harry Potter adventure, Royal Wedding tour or reservations at A-list restaurants, Sincerely Paul is known for delivering the extraordinary.
