Emirates unveils 32” screens with new in-flight entertainment system

DUBAI, U.A.E — Emirates is launching its new generation in-flight entertainment (IFE) system with larger screens in First Class and economy class and three times the media storage.

Passengers travelling in First Class will see their IFE screens increased from 27” to 32”. The 40% increase makes it the largest screen on any aircraft.

Economy class screens are also larger, and the industry’s largest, at 13.3”.

“We continually upgrade our fleet, as well as our products and services on board to ensure an unparalleled travel experience,” said Patrick Brannelly, Emirates’ Divisional Vice President – Customer Service.

The new IFE system now offers 2,186 channels of on-demand entertainment and 1,230 music channels, and a multilingual interface in 14 languages.
