‘Edmonton-Amsterdam nonstop KLM contest’ offers 2 chances for agents to fly to Europe

MONTREAL — ‘The Edmonton-Amsterdam nonstop KLM contest’ is a contest intended for Canadian travel agents to mark the launch of the new Edmonton-Amsterdam service May 19.

All KLM departures from anywhere in Canada are automatically entered. The prizes are two pairs of Canada-Europe tickets: one pair in World Business Class and one pair in Economy.

Until June 30, 2015, travel agents can sign up for the contest by answering the qualifying question. Afterwards, they can register each ticket they sell with a departure until July 31, 2015.

Tickets sold from Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver give one chance to participate and those from Edmonton give two.

The contest is open online until June 30, 2015 (11:59 p.m. EDT) at yeg-ams.ca, or through agentconnect.biz. The winning entries will be drawn at random.

Starting May 19, KLM will offer three weekly flights between Edmonton and Amsterdam Schiphol. From June 22, a weekly flight will be added. Flights will be operated by Airbus 330-200 with 243 seats: 30 in World Business Class and 213 in Economy, among them 35 in Economy Comfort Zone.

In Alberta, KLM is also offering daily flights to Calgary.
