DATE delegates get an eyeful of new Luxury Bahia Principe Fantasia

PLAYA BAVARO, D.R. — It was perfect timing: travel suppliers and retailers from Canada, the U.S. and beyond in town for the D.R.’s annual tourism conference (DATE) got to experience the fanfare grand opening of the new Luxury Bahia Principe Fantasia Don Pablo Collection.

More than 300 guests were treated to a dinner with shows performed by a cast of 15 top international artists. Music, circus acrobatics and choreography merged with a gastronomic menu created for the occasion by one of Bahia Principe’s Executive Chefs, Manuel Cendón and his team.

For Isabel Piñero, Vice-President of Marketing and Communication at Grupo Piñero, “at this very special event, our intention was to put together a party that would reflect all of the features of Luxury Bahia Principe Fantasia Don Pablo Collection, inviting those attending to discover the unique ambience that permeates throughout every part of the hotel.”

Luxury Bahia Principe Fantasia Don Pablo Collection, a five-star hotel, had its soft open last November. Facilities at the 512-room resort include two pools, five restaurants and five bars. Three castles house the Kids Club, the Garden Circus restaurant and the Kokoro sushi bar. Guests get access to the facilities and services of neighbouring Bahia Principe Bavaro Resort hotels (except the buffets) including the adults-only Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda, Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Green and Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Blue.

Luxury Bahia Principe Fantasia is Grupo Piñero’s 26th hotel and its 14th in D.R. Grupo Piñero now operates in over 30 countries, managing over five million hotel stays per year in 26 four- and five-star hotels totalling 11,000 rooms.
