Crystal Cruises is on its way back, with sailings starting July 31

MIAMI — Both Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony will return this summer, relaunched under a reimagined name and vision: Crystal – Exceptional at Sea.

A&K Travel Group bought the two former Crystal Cruises vessels, and the company too, in June 2022 with an eye to a comeback for the luxury cruise line.

A&K Travel Group also owns Abercrombie & Kent, and is in turn owned by Heritage Group, headed up by Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio.

Under its former owners Crystal Cruises ran into financial difficulties and both ocean-going ships ended up stranded in early 2022.

NEW VOYAGES FOR 2023 AND 2024

Announced yesterday, Crystal will offer 2023 and 2024 voyages aboard the newly refurbished Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.

The ships have been reimagined with larger updated suites that include artisanal finishes, cutting-edge-onboard wellness, and world-class dining and entertainment.

Voyages will travel throughout the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Canada and New England, Alaska, the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. To see the collection of voyages, click here.

On shore, a seamless experience with unparalleled levels of service will continue with sister company Abercrombie & Kent’s ground arrangements.

“I am delighted to announce that Crystal is reborn, with Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony reimagined and enhancements made to every part of our guests’ journey,” said Crystal President Jack Anderson. “Palatial suites, spacious verandas and guest rooms have been rolled out on both ships, reducing overall guest capacity. Personalized service – long a Crystal signature – has been elevated further. Dining is a journey through culinary specialties, with authentic food from around the globe. Local experts at Abercrombie & Kent have planned memorable experiences in each destination to guarantee beyond-the-guidebook access.”

Travel advisors and guests with open deposits now have exclusive access to an early booking window, before bookings open to the public later this month.

Crystal Serenity’s first cruise departs July 31, 2023 from Marseille, and Crystal Symphony’s first cruise is scheduled to depart Sept.1, 2023 from Athens.

The cruise line invites travel agents to preview the new Crystal experience and just announced voyages, and register online to receive the latest updates, at crystalcruises.com.
