MIAMI — Windstar Cruises is marking Travel Advisor Appreciation Month with a range of incentives, including bonus commissions and a Tahiti cruise giveaway, as the small-ship cruise line prepares to expand its fleet from six to eight yachts.
Throughout May 2026, travel advisors will earn one entry into a grand prize draw for a seven-day Dreams of Tahiti cruise for two with every 2026 booking. The prize includes roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles and is valid for departures through March 31, 2027.
In addition, advisors will receive a $100 bonus commission per stateroom on all eligible bookings made between May 1 and May 31. There is no limit on the number of entries or bonus commissions advisors can earn.
Windstar is also promoting reduced-rate FAM sailings for advisors across its global regions, with discounted fares of up to half-off off public cruise fares available on select departures. In some cases, discounted fares exceed one-third off, depending on sailing and availability.
“Travel advisors are at the heart of everything we do,” said Janet Bava, Chief Commercial Officer, Windstar Cruises. “Their knowledge, dedication and ability to match the right guest with the right itinerary are essential to our success.”
Bookings made during the promotional period will also qualify clients for Windstar’s Q2 Complimentary All-In Package, adding value for travellers and providing advisors with an additional selling tool.
Looking ahead, the cruise line is introducing a new “Peace of Mind Promise” with a Cancel For Any Reason policy. The complimentary policy will apply to voyages through March 31, 2027, and is designed to give both advisors and clients added confidence when booking.
The cruise line’s expansion plans include the debut of Star Seeker, a 224-guest all-suite yacht sailing Alaska, Japan and Southeast Asia, as well as Star Explorer, set to launch in December 2026 with year-round Mediterranean itineraries. Windstar is also continuing to expand its global reach with new itineraries and its RiverOcean voyages program, which combines river and ocean cruising into one seamless journey.
Windstar sails to more than 330 destinations worldwide, with popular itineraries spanning Europe, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the South Pacific, including Tahiti.
