Ship preview: Explora III is a new address for an ‘Ocean State of Mind’

ONBOARD EXPLORA III — Fresh out of Fincantieri’s Sestri Ponente shipyard in Genoa, Explora III is dazzling the international roster of dignitaries, travel advisors and journalists on the prelude sailing to her gala naming ceremony in Barcelona tomorrow, Aug. 1.

The third ship in Explora Journey’s expanding fleet, the 72,810-tonne Explora III represents the line’s evolutionary flexibility to use renewable fuels such as bio-LNG and synthetic LNG, alongside innovative efficient energy.

Explora III is slightly larger than her sister ships, with most additional area dedicated to enhanced public spaces, expanded Ocean Penthouses and Ocean Residences, and new culinary experiences.

Every luxurious detail of Explora III is designed with ambitions of owners, the Aponte Family to nurture the guest experience for a blissful ‘Ocean State of Mind.’

From my first glance at The Lobby Bar to my first step into any of the calming all-oceanfront suites, Explora III radiates an elegance that sets expectations for an unparalleled travelling aesthetic on a ship designed as a floating sanctuary.

With five inviting pools, three whirlpools, spa, fitness and sports facilities, not to mention a variety of splendid eateries, Explora III is indeed full-service resort at sea.
