VANCOUVER — Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours is encouraging clients to book 2020-2021 Southeast Asia river cruises now to ensure first choice on departure dates and suite categories.
According to the company, the region is fast becoming one of the most sought after to explore, with the historic Mekong River and Myanmar’s Irrawaddy River enticing a growing number of river cruisers.
Booking before July 10, says the company, means first choice on 2020-2021 departure dates and suite categories as well as $495 premium economy airfare or free economy flights on Mekong River departures of 13 days longer, and free economy flights on 13-day or longer Irrawaddy River cruises.
Booking Scenic’s 11-day sailings on either river means $1,000 per couple off the fare. Guests who place a deposit on any Southeast Asia cruise at the time of booking will receive an additional $500 per couple in savings.
These offers are good until July 10, 2019 or when the sailing is sold out. Guests and travel agents should quote code SEA2020PRE. Additional details can be found in Scenic’s online brochure: https://www.scenic.ca/offers/pre-release-south-east-asia.
Itineraries range from 11-31 days and include such highlights as floating canal villages, ancient temples and verdant paddy fields. Scenic Enrich are exclusive-to-Scenic excursions that are included on every itinerary. Examples include a themed gala dinner at Angkor’s Kravan Temple in Cambodia, a Tuk Tuk City Lights tour of Phnom Penh, Vespa riding in Ho Chi Minh, and meeting monks, nuns and orphans at a monastic-supported school in Myanmar.
Scenic’s all-inclusive fares include private butler service, unlimited complimentary beverages, gratuities, transfers, cultural entertainment, regional cuisine as well as Western dining in customized settings, and Scenic Freechoice activities.
Its ships have been designed and built for Southeast Asia’s rivers and meet European safety standards. The 68-guest Scenic Spirit on the Mekong and the 44-guest Scenic Aura for the Irrawaddy include key features such as noise-blocking marine paneling, a pool, open-air cinema, sun decks, spa, fitness room, sauna and steam room (Spirit), elevator (Spirit) and multiple dining options. Accommodations onboard are all suites with walkout balconies and are the most spacious and luxurious in Southeast Asia.
