Corporate travel executives, Lufthansa to hold webinar on 16-euro GDS fee

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Association of Corporate Travel Executives and Lufthansa Group will conduct a webinar Aug. 21 to acquaint ACTE members — and others in the travel community — with operational information regarding the carrier’s 16-euro GDS transaction fee, which goes into effect on Sept. 1, 2015.

“The purpose of this webinar is to answer questions, to minimize confusion and to help travel managers navigate this change with a complete understanding of the process for their travel management program,” said ACTE.\

This webinar will not address the philosophical aspects of Lufthansa’s decision, but the reality of what will take place on Sept. 1, 2015. “ACTE wants to make sure its members, and others in the travel community, have complete information about the operational aspect of this change,” said the organization.

Attendees will be prompted during the registration process to submit questions for the speaker Larry Ryan, Director, Marketing, Distribution & Sales Programs, The Americas – Lufthansa Group, who will be interviewed by Greeley Koch, Executive Director, Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE).
