Goway has a new Downunder agent incentive

Contiki’s holding onto summer with savings of up to $400 off

TORONTO – Contiki is already setting its sights on summer 2017 with the launch of a new sale featuring three of its top-selling regions.

Available now until Jan. 25, 2017, the ‘Endless Summer’ promotion allows clients to save up to $400 off 20 of its sun-kissed trips that span Asia, Latin America and South Pacific (Australia and New Zealand).

“Winter is here and many Canadians are already looking for a bit of Vitamin D,” says Sheralyn Berry, Director of Sales for Contiki Canada. “Our new ‘Endless Summer’ campaign is a great way to encourage your clients to act upon their dependency for sunshine and warmth by offering them great savings on some of our most popular trips. It may be cold here, but it’s always beach o’clock somewhere!”

A new trend in millennial bookings has emerged, one that has young Canadians booking 30-90 days from their trip start date (rather than the 6+ months period). In response, Contiki’s new campaign is a departure from the industry standard of focusing solely on 2017 summer bookings in the winter. By highlighting sun and surf trips that Canadians can take during the colder season, the company is able to offer agents an immediate way to extend their clients’ summers.

Contiki has included the following 20 trips in its new ‘Endless Summer’ campaign:

$200 off the ‘Vietnam Experience’, ‘Inca Panorama with Trail’, ‘Pura Vida’, ‘Caribbean Encounter’, ‘Sun Seeker’ (Start Cairns and End Surfers Paradise); ‘Sweet as South’ (start Christchurch), ‘Northern Choice’ (start Wellington end Auckland), and ‘Eternal India’.

Clients will receive $250 off ‘Costa Rica Unplugged’, ‘Asian Adventure’, ‘Peru Uncovered with Trail’, ‘Beaches and Reefs Plus Sailing’ (start Cairns and end Sydney), ‘Reefs and Rainforests Plus Sailing’ (Cairns to Sydney), ‘Kiwiana Panorama’ (Christchurch to Auckland), and ‘Bangkok to Singapore Adventure’.

Lastly, $400 is taken off ‘The Big Walkabout’ (Darwin to Sydney), ‘Big Indochina Adventure’, ‘Japan Unrivalled’, ‘The Explorer’, and ‘Ecuador and Galapagos Island Hopper’.
