CONTEST: Was it 1982, 1984 or 1987? “Hunter, Jervis join Carousel”

TORONTO — There are two familiar names in the headline of this edition of ‘It Happened This Week’.

Guess the correct year the story ran in Travelweek, and you could win a $50 Amazon gift card.

There’s a gift card up for grabs every week! It’s all part of Travelweek’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

Here’s the throwback headline for this week: Hunter, Jervis join Carousel

The 1980s lead story reported that Colin Hunter and Paul Jervis had left tour operator Sunflight to join Carousel Tours. At that time, Hunter was VP Operations for Sunflight, and Jervis was VP Product.

Hunter, of course, is a legend in the travel industry, with a long list of successful ventures including some with Jervis. Hunter founded Sunwing in 2002 and is currently the chairman of the board, and owner of Sunwing Travel Group.

Did the headline appear in Travelweek this week in 1982, 1984 or 1987?
