TORONTO — Travel agents can learn about the many reasons to visit – and sell – Martinique with a newly launched online training specialist course with Travelweek’s Learning Centre.
Currently live in both English and French, the course will take approximately one hour for agents to complete. Upon completion, agents will be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to Martinique, including two air tickets courtesy of Air Canada, four nights’ accommodation, and a complimentary car rental.
Agents have until June 30 to complete the course in order to be eligible for the prize. The course will continue to run until February 2021.
Known for its white sand beaches, water activities and stunning landscapes, this French Caribbean island is moving up the ranks among Canadian travellers. More than 20,000 Canadians arrived on its shores in 2019, an increase of 45% over 2018.
This course will give travel agents a deeper understanding of Martinique’s star attractions, its most popular activities ranging from sailing to cultural tours, its top ranked beaches and accommodations, and its wide range of wedding options. Agents will also learn why the island is considered one of the world’s best eco destinations, and which upcoming special events and festivals to save the date for.
