MONTREAL — Club Med is seeing much higher booking volume for vacations during the Christmas and New Year holiday season in its most popular family resorts than last year.
“We would like to inform our travel partners that the available inventory starts depleting quickly for this peak period, especially in our resorts of Club Med Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and Cancun Yucatan, Mexico,” said Jacinda Lowry, National Sales Director at Club Med Canada.

Club Med Punta Cana will feature several novelties by the holidays. This will include the CREACTIVE by Cirque du Soleil playground opening in June 2015, where kids and adults alike will get to participate in up to 30 activities inspired from acclaimed Cirque du Soleil performances. And by December, Club Med will reveal its latest addition to its Punta Cana resort: a Zen Oasis.

“We encourage travel agents to alert their clients now to move quickly in order to secure their space for the holidays, but also to take advantage of a competitive price for the stay and also for their flights,” said Lowry.
Prices will increase shortly and airfares for the holiday season are expected to increase too. Plus, availability on the most popular room categories such as suites, family suites and communicating rooms is decreasing quickly for this high-demand period.
