TORONTO — Sunwing says there’s still limited availability at a number of Memories Resorts & Spa’s Cuba properties over the holiday period.

Grand Memories Varadero offers an extensive pool complex, spa, leisure amenities and children’s program with its own exclusive adults-only section set on Varadero’s pristine white sands. It also has seven restaurants (six with à la carte options) and eight bars so “there are plenty of opportunities to see in the New Year in style”, says the company.

At the family-friendly Memories Varadero Beach Resort, Santa arrives by catamaran. Also in the program are shows featuring popular Disney characters, pirate-themed adventures and afternoon tea with the fairies.

At Memories Caribe Beach Resort in Cayo Coco, younger guests can dance with Santa at the mini-disco or join in a pinata game, while older ones can take part in the Christmas-themed foam party. Also in laid-back Cayo Coco, Memories Flamenco Beach Resort is celebrating the holiday season with salsa and merengue classes, a Miss Claus contest and Farewell 2015 party.

Memories Holguin Beach Resort has cookie-decorating and Christmas craft workshops, singing from the local choir and a host of New Year celebrations from letting off commemorative balloons to the year’s ‘First Swim’ event.
