CIE Tours takes home Irish marketing award

DUBLIN — CIE Tours International took home top honours at the recent Irish Tourism Industry Awards ceremony, winning the Best International Marketing Initiative award.

“I was delighted to accept this award on behalf of all my colleagues in CIE Tours International,” said Brian Stack, President of CIE Tours International.  “We are excited to be recognized in this way by the Irish tourism industry.”

CIE Tours implements a wide range of marketing campaigns in North America to promote Ireland and to create brand awareness. The marketing mix includes different channel types such as traditional consumer media, travel agent promotions and online marketing.  All the activities are designed adhering to unique branding guidelines that highlight the quality of the product and Ireland as a preferred destination.

“The CIE Tours marketing team is proud to accept this recognition,” said Willie Montano, CIE Tours International’s Vice President of Marketing. “For many years our brand message has been helping prospective buyers become more informed and familiar with Ireland. Our marketing efforts attract and inspire thousands of visitors every year. The positive impact to the Irish hospitality industry and overall economy of the country is of great significance and highly rewarding to all.”

With continuous support from travel partners, CIE Tours has been able to increase its collection of escorted tours from 44 to 52 for 2015.  All CIE Tours travel programs are protected by the company’s $550+ Advantage, a no-fee benefit guaranteeing that travellers are never charged for special features considered optional extras with other tour companies.  This benefit saves couples an average of US$550 per week, says the company.
