MONTREAL — Sunwing Travel Group has announced the appointment of Lyne Chayer as General Manager, Quebec.

Chayer’s strategic knowledge and commercial acumen will play a strong part in the next phase of Sunwing Travel Group’s exciting growth in the Quebec market, says the company. Chayer brings more than 20 years of experience in directing marketing campaigns across both consumer and trade channels in the travel and aviation industries.

Chayer’s appointment coincides with several recent news developments within the travel group, including the delivery of Sunwing Airlines’ first Boeing 737 MAX 8 airplanes, the partnership with Planet Hollywood to open three new resorts across the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America and the addition of two new resorts to the growing Royalton Luxury Resorts brand.

In Quebec, recent announcements have included the airline’s return to Mont-Joli to offer sunshine flights for a second consecutive season together with the addition of Mazatlan as a new vacation destination.
