Cathay Pacific celebrates 20 years of flying to Toronto with seat sale

VANCOUVER — Cathay Pacific this week is celebrating 20 years flying between Toronto and Hong Kong.

On June 9, 1994 Cathay Pacific was the first airline to offer fastest same-plane service with its three times weekly B747-400 flights between Toronto and Hong Kong, with a technical stopover in Anchorage. Over 20 years the airline has increased the number of passenger flights to 10 flights weekly, now nonstop and flown by the fuel-efficient Boeing 777-300ER ultra-long haul aircraft equipped with its highly acclaimed Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins configured to provide more personal space for passengers.

In celebration, Cathay Pacific is offering savings up to 35% off Business Class and up to 20% off Premium Economy Class airfares from Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa to select cities in Asia and Australia, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur and Bali.

These airfares are on sale from now until June 27 inclusive, and available for flight departures July 9 to Dec. 31 2014, inclusive.

Cathay Pacific Premium Economy Class 20th Anniversary Fare Sale – $2,086 Toronto/Hong Kong; $2,370 Ottawa/Taipei; $3,137 Montreal/Melbourne.

These airfares are on sale from now until June 27 inclusive, and available for flight departures from Sept. 2 to Nov. 30 2014, inclusive.
