MIAMI — Carnival Venezia is showing off its brand new hull livery ahead of the debut of Carnival Cruise Line’s ‘Fun Italian Style.’
In a nod to the ship’s Costa Cruises roots, its red stripe on the hull has been painted yellow and will correspond with the yellow on the ship’s funnel.
It was announced back in June 2022 that both Costa Venezia and Costa Firenze would be transferring to Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet. Costa and Carnival Cruise Line are both part of Carnival Corporation.
Carnival Venezia marks Carnival Cruise Line’s first ‘Fun Italian Style’ ship featuring Italian-inspired entertainment spaces and dining. It officially joined Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet in March 2023.
Once Carnival Venezia’s enhancement project is completed in Spain, the ship will embark on a 15-day Carnival Journeys transatlantic sailing on May 29, 2023 from Barcelona before arriving at its new home at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in New York City. The ship’s first cruise from
New York – a four-day voyage to Bermuda – is set for June 15, 2023.
Carnival Venezia accommodates more than 5,000 guests will offer 10 different cruise durations and 22 unique itineraries that visit 25 ports across 14 countries. To see sailings currently open for sale on Carnival Venezia, click here.
