MIAMI — Carnival Cruise Line has launched a new online sales certification series for agents designed to enhance sales skills and expand their business.
Consisting of eight parts and led by Carnival’s business development managers, the ‘FUNdamentals of Successful Selling’ series runs twice weekly and is available to all Carnival travel advisors on GoCCL.com, at no cost.
Upon completion of the program and a short learning quick, all participants will receive a certificate of completion signed by Adolfo M. Perez, Carnival’s senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing, as well as an official logo that they can use on their website, email signature and marketing materials.
A wide range of topics will be covered, including:
- Business Building Strategies
- Planning Fun, Memorable Vacations for Clients with Future Cruise Credits
- Using Social Media to Engage with Clients
- Hosting Virtual Cruise Parties
- Developing Lifelong Client Relationships
- Creating Your Personal Brand
- Engaging in Ongoing Learning
The program’s final course – Keys to Sales Success Today – will be hosted by Perez and his sales leadership team, who will share tips on how to reinforce key success factors in today’s rapidly evolving travel industry.

For agents who are unable to attend the sessions online, courses will be available on-demand, offering additional convenience.
