Canadian travel agents now earn 5% on Azul Brazilian Airlines

MISSISSAUGA — Air Promotion Group, a specialist in airline distribution for international airlines, says that, effective immediately, Azul Brazilian Airlines, (AD) will be paying Canadian travel agents 5% commission on all published fares.

Azul has more flights in Brazil than any other airline and will begin flying from Fort Lauderdale to Brazil later this year.

“Azul recognizes the importance of travel agents in their ongoing success in the Canadian travel market,” says Karl Müller, APG’s Director in Canada. “Azul is one of the largest airlines in Brazil with flights to over 100 destinations in that country. And, with Brazil being a priority market and major economic player for Canada, getting around the fifth largest country in the world is now easier and more affordable than ever.”

Brazil attracts thousands of Canadian tourists every year, along with business travellers. And that’s a number destined to significantly increase with the Olympics coming to Rio de Janeiro in 2016 along with the great tourist attractions like Copacabana Beach, Iguassu Falls and the Amazon rainforest, says Müller.

Azul Brazilian Airlines is in BSP and available for ticketing through Apollo, Sabre and Amadeus. Special requests and group rates can be handled through the Azul Ticketing Office in Canada by contacting Azul-BrazilianAirlines@apg-canada.net or by calling toll-free 1-877-420-4818. The travel agent support desk is available 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Air Promotion Group Canada is Azul Brazilian Airlines’ General Sales Agent in North America.
