Canada Jetlines gets FAA approval for U.S. flight operations

TORONTO — Canada Jetlines has received its final FAA approval for U.S. flight operations.

This latest update follows last month’s news that Canada Jetlines had received the thumbs-up from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The news also comes as Canada Jetlines gets ready to welcome its second Airbus A320 aircraft today.

Canada Jetlines has already announced its first U.S. destination: Las Vegas. Flights are expected to start in January 2023.

“The U.S. is a major market for Canadian travellers and we are looking forward to expanding our international network. Jetlines is ready to start flying to Melbourne/Orlando International airport in Florida and to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, with both inaugural flights scheduled for January 19, 2023,” said Eddy Doyle, President and CEO, Canada Jetlines.

Here in Canada the new airline is now offering Toronto-Vancouver service as well as Toronto-Calgary service. In addition to its regular service, Canada Jetlines will operate numerous charter flights throughout December.
