VANCOUVER — Visit California’s 2024 Western Canada Trade Roadshow showcased the Golden State to industry professionals in Alberta and B.C.

Taking place last week with stops in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, the shows were well received by Canadian travel/trade representatives, with over 250+ travel advisors and trade partners braving snow and frigid temperatures to attend the events.

Some 22 California delegates were in attendance, and 18 key trade partners including Air Canada, Air Canada Vacations, WestJet, Porter Airlines, TravelBrands, AMA Travel, Ensemble and Virtuoso.

One fun element provided a unique and interactive training platform: the California Dating Game, which highlighted each destination through a fun and engaging gameshow-style format.

Accommodation for the events was at the Hotel Arts in Calgary, the JW Marriott Ice District, Edmonton and the JW Marriott Parq, Vancouver. Event venues included FinePrint and The Brownstone, Calgary, Edmonton’s Foundry Room and The Permanent in Vancouver.
