Butterfield & Robinson & Canada Goose partner up to launch adventure trips

TORONTO — Butterfield & Robinson has teamed up with Canada Goose, maker of Arctic luxury apparel, to launch a series of intimate group voyages to some of the world’s most exclusive destinations.

‘Canada Goose Adventure Trips’, beginning in 2017, will include two unique trips: the first in Iceland, known for its cold oceanic climate, and the second in Newfoundland, a province ruled by the harsh waters that surround it. Expeditionary activities will range from snorkelling and sea kayaking to snowmobiling and all-terrain adventures, with accommodations in luxury wilderness lodges.

“The world is a magical place and these fantastic adventures will make it easy for people to experience what’s great out there,” said Kevin Spreekmeester, Chief Brand Officer, Canada Goose. “Guests will experience Canada Goose product in the settings and environments we were inspired by and they were designed for.”

Guests will sport apparel from the Canada Goose Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer collections, including the iconic Expedition Parka, technical rain shells, award0winning HyBridge Lite pieces and accessories.

“The joining of these two brands was destined. Both are founded on innovative design and are driven by a quest for creative excellence. The Canada Goose Adventure Trips are an extension of our shared ethos.” says Norman Howe, Butterfield & Robinson President & CEO.

‘Canada Goose Iceland Adventure’ departs March 5-10 and is priced from US$9,995 per person. Highlights include travelling in a modified 4×4 vehicle, hiking through Thingvellir National Park, snorkelling between two continental plates, snowmobiling to Langjökull glacier, and soaking in the geothermal waters of Blue Lagoon.

‘Canada Goose Newfoundland Adventure’ departs June 8-11 and is priced from $5,495 per person. While on this adventure, guests will witness 10,000-year-old icebergs sailing offshore, hike the trails of Fogo Island, join the crew of the MV Ketania for an afternoon sail, and learn to row a punt.

Groups will range between 10-20 guests. Additional 2017 destinations will be announced later this year.
