VANCOUVER — Emerald Cruises’ first-ever Super Earlybird promotion on select 2022 cruises and cabins applies to European and Southeast Asia river cruises as well as recently announced yacht cruises to sail on the Mediterranean, Red and Adriatic seas.
Emerald Cruises, parent company to Emerald Waterways, says it’s seeing strong demand for the 2022 cruise season.
The new Super Earlybird promotion offers clients the best savings, and an extra incentive to book early, says the company.
This first-time promotion will be highlighted in an exclusive consumer webinar just for Canadian travellers.
SUPER EARLYBIRD PROMO DETAILS
Passengers who book their 2022 European or Southeast Asian river cruise, and pay in full 12 months prior to departure, will receive the Super Earlybird savings on select sailings and cabins of an extra 10% off the cost of their booking in addition to the following current offers:
- For European sailings, passengers save up to Cdn$3,000 per couple depending on length of sailing and cabin category, and couples booking a suite on the Horizon Deck receive €300 onboard credit
- For Southeast Asian sailings, passengers save Cdn$4,000 per couple on 13-day or longer itineraries.
The Super Earlybird promotion also applies to Emerald Yacht Cruises’ 2022 sailings in the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Red Seas aboard the 100-passenger Emerald Azzurra. Clients booking select 2022 sailings and cabins will receive up to 30% off the cost of the booking when paying in full 12 months prior to departure.
All bookings also come with the line’s flexible booking policy that allows passengers to defer travel plans and transfer to an alternate departure date or itinerary up to 60 days prior to departure with no Emerald Cruises fees.
The Deposit Protection Plan (value $125 per person on river cruises and $200 per person on yacht cruises) is a complimentary inclusion in all bookings, and gives passengers flexibility with their travel dates without having to worry about losing their deposits. Additionally, deposits have been reduced by 50% on all bookings.
Emerald Cruises also notes that clients looking for additional flexibility and security can purchase the new Platinum Protection Plan, which provides coverage for guests who may fall ill or who’s travel plans are affected by COVID-19. The Platinum Protection Plan allows for 100% refund of cruise fare when enacted up to 31 days prior to departure, and 70% refund when enacted between 15 and 30 days prior. This plan can be added to eligible river cruise bookings for Cdn$395 per person and to Emerald Azzurra yacht sailings for Cdn$495.
All bookings must be made by Dec. 18, 2020 and passengers must pay the full balance no later than 12 months before departure to receive the Super Earlybird savings.
