Belgian Beer World opening in Brussels on July 1, 2023

Already a prime destination for beer lovers, Belgium is upping its offer with the brand new Belgian Beer World set to open July 1, 2023 in Brussels.

Beer’s history in Belgium goes back to the Middle Ages, when it was brewed and served to visitors by monks in Belgian monasteries. Beer brewing and culture is so integral to Belgium life, in 2016 it was added to UNESCO’s list representing the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Delighting guests with a fine brew is a tradition that has continued in Belgium for centuries, and soon visitors will be able to experience everything beer-related – including tastings, of course – at Belgian Beer World.

Housed in the former Brussels Stock Exchange, Belgian Beer World will feature 100+ brewers serving 1,000+ different beers. Visitors can sip with sky views at the venue’s Skybar on the roof. In the basement, a display showcases the remains of a former Franciscan monastery. And of course there’s a shop too, with a selection of beers and gifts.
