TORONTO — Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has appointed Mississauga-based Discover the World Canada its international sales partner for the Canadian market.
Discover the World Canada provides sales and marketing services to a variety of airline, cruise, hotel, car rental and technology clients, with a strong presence in the Canadian travel industry that goes back some 25 years. It’s one of more than 65 offices globally for Discover the World, which is headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ.
The move will support and strengthen the cruise line’s existing presence in Canada, while positioning it for future growth, says Francis Riley, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, for Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line.
“Our brand is in the midst of an exciting evolution, as we expand upon our core product and look to introduce innovative new services, amenities and activities,” says Riley. “We are impressed by Discover the World Canada’s robust relationships and approach to doing business, and we are confident they will be the right partner to help us reintroduce our offerings to the Canadian market.”
Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line is the only provider of two-night cruises to Grand Bahama Island with daily departures from Palm Beach, FL. With two ships, the cruise line offers several fine dining options, including gourmet burgers at The Bull; intimate, candlelit dining experiences at Admiral’s Steak and Seafood; Italian fare at A Slice Above; or experiential, interactive dining at The Rock Grill, which gives guests the opportunity to cook their own meat and seafood dishes on a lava rock.
Each night onboard, and each ship, offers a different experience, with several nightly shows including the popular Celebration Nights and Let’s Dance! Production. Adult cruisers are welcome to cap the night with drinks and laughs during a late-night comedy show while younger travellers can mix and mingle in the kids’ club and at one of the Dancing Martian’s glow parties.
“We are pleased to partner with Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and help enhance their exposure within the Canadian market,” said Ian Murray, Executive Vice President of Global Sales for Discover the World. “We look forward to creating a successful long-term partnership with this fresh, innovative cruise brand and connecting Canadian travelers with the ultimate Bahamas getaway.”
The company has a host of upcoming promotions and themed sailings including ARTSEA, Girls Getaway, and exclusive offers for teachers, military members/families, and solo travellers.
