ANTIGUA — Antigua’s iconic Jolly Beach Resort is ready to reopen its doors with a clear message to guests: this is where to come for fun in the sun.

The largest resort on the island, Jolly Beach reopens to guests on Dec. 1 with all-inclusive rates starting at US$199 for two people.

Top selling points of the resort include the Fantasy Pool where local DJs spin tracks, a wide range of food and beverage options like the Pizza Factory and The Coffee Shop, and a wide range of activities like beach volleyball, non-motorized water sports such as stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, tennis and billiards. There’s also a fitness centre offering a range of cardio and weight-training equipment, and the Island Spa where guests can indulge in traditional massages and other beauty treatments.

For those wishing to venture off-site, a range of excursions is available including jeep safaris, catamaran cruises, scuba diving, sport fishing and more. The resort’s concierge team is also on call to book reservations at a variety of local restaurants, and help with destination weddings, anniversaries and vow renewals.

There are three categories of rooms to choose from: supersaver, standard and superior, with rates from $199 per room, per night for two persons, on an all-inclusive basis. Accommodations, dining, house-brand alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, non-motorized watersports, resort activities, entertainment and Wi-Fi are included. Room only/à la carte pricing is also available. All rooms face the Caribbean Sea and offer partial or full views of the sea from a private patio or balcony. Each room features cable TV, air conditioning and basic bathroom amenities.
