Another round of resort fees for this Vegas hotel heavyweight

LAS VEGAS — Caesars Entertainment is hiking resort fees at 10 of its Las Vegas properties for the second time in 12 months. Starting March 1 daily resort fees (not including tax) will be US$30 at Bally’s, Flamingo, Harrah’s, LINQ Hotel & Casino and Rio, and $35 at Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, Nobu, Paris and Planet Hollywood.

The company says the fee increase, between $1 and $3 depending on the hotel, covers new premium WiFi service.

Caesars Entertainment’s first round of resort fees, introduced a few years ago, ranged from $10 to $25. MGM Resorts, Caesars’ biggest competitor, bumped up its fees in October 2016 but says it doesn’t plan to increase fees again in the near future.
