American upgrades its lounge space at Pearson’s Terminal 3

TORONTO — American Airlines has unveiled its reimagined Admirals Club Lounge at Toronto Pearson Airport’s Terminal 3.

American made a significant investment in the nearly 2,500- square-feet Admirals Club, which has been re-designed to accommodate close to 70 guests. There are complimentary snacks and drinks, a dedicated bar stocked with a range of premium beverages, a self-service coffee bar featuring La Colombe coffee beans, computers with Internet access and complimentary WiFi and power ports throughout.

“Our newly enhanced Admirals Club lounge reflects American’s commitment to the Canadian market and our ongoing investment in the premium experience, both here in Toronto and around the world,” said Pamela Hunt, American’s general manager for YYZ.

American Airlines offers up to 30 daily flights from YYZ to its U.S. hubs in Charlotte (CLT), Chicago (ORD), Dallas/ Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK & LGA), Philadelphia (PHL) and Washington, D.C. (DCA).

American has Admirals Club® Lounges in 54 locations worldwide and has offered one in Toronto since 1975. The newly redesigned space is part of the airline’s extensive worldwide lounge refurbishment program. American is in the midst of more than US$3 billion in planned improvements.
