WestJet’s completion factor for August long weekend: 98.3%

WestJet’s seasonal Fredericton – Calgary flights start June 20

CALGARY — Starting June 20 WestJet will operate new nonstop, twice weekly seasonal service between Fredericton and Calgary.

“The addition of service between Fredericton and Calgary is a testament to our ongoing commitment to deliver on our promise to expand our service in Atlantic Canada through critical east-to-west connectivity, which has been met with strong community support,” said Andrew Gibbons, WestJet’s VP, External Affairs.

The service between Fredericton and Calgary is in addition to WestJet’s previously announced expansive summer schedule for Atlantic Canada, featuring over 25 nonstop routes connecting six Atlantic markets across Canada and beyond.

Atlantic Canada passengers can also connect to WestJet’s growing list of global destinations, including Incheon International Airport in Seoul and Tokyo’s Narita International Airport, through WestJet’s hub in Calgary.

From Fredericton, flights depart at 5:50 p.m., arriving in Calgary at 8:05 p.m. On the return leg, flights depart Calgary at 9:15 a.m., arriving in Fredericton at 5 p.m.
