DOHA — Surging demand has prompted Qatar Airways to increase service on its Toronto – Doha route.
Starting June 19, Qatar Airways will operate five weekly flights to Toronto, with plans to offer daily service to Toronto this winter.
The increase comes just six months after the airline launched the route.
“We launched our services to Toronto Pearson Airport less than six months ago and have seen a strong response in the market. We are proud to announce the increase in flights to meet the growing demand for our award-winning travel experience,” said Qatar Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Thierry Antinori.
For this summer, flights will operate every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. From Doha, flight QR767 will depart at 8:10 a.m., arriving in Toronto at 3 p.m. From Toronto, flight QR768 will depart YYZ at 9 p.m., arriving in DOH at 4:40 p.m.
For the winter schedule, flights will depart daily. Flight QR767 will leave Doha at 8:25 a.m., arriving in Toronto at 2:40 p.m. From Toronto, flight QR768 will depart YYZ at 8:10 p.m., arriving in DOH at 4:55 p.m.
