TORONTO — Porter Airlines is marking its 20th anniversary by giving VIPorter members a chance to win 20,000 loyalty points every day for 20 days.

Running from Oct. 15 to Nov. 3, the giveaway will award 20,000 VIPorter points to one member daily. Canadian VIPorter members who have flown with Porter or redeemed points between Oct. 1, 2025, and Nov. 2, 2026, are automatically entered.

VIPorter redemption flights start at 5,000 points for a one-way short-haul flight, 7,000 points for a long-haul flight and 10,000 points each way to select sun destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean. Members can also redeem points for flights operated by partner airlines, including Alaska Airlines and Air Transat, on select routes across the continental U.S., Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.

“Celebrating 20 years of service is about recognizing our passengers who have chosen to fly with us over the years. We are excited to mark this milestone by giving back to our loyal members – it’s our way of saying thank you,” said Edmond Eldebs, senior vice president and chief commercial officer, Porter Airlines.

Since launching two decades ago, Porter has grown from a regional carrier into Canada’s third-largest airline, expanding its network across Canada and the U.S., as well as to sun destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.

VIPorter has expanded alongside the airline, adding BMO VIPorter Mastercard products and the ability to earn and redeem points with partner airlines. The program recently launched a partnership with BMO Blue Rewards, becoming its preferred airline partner.

Porter also continues to differentiate its economy offering with features including no middle seats, complimentary beer and wine served in glassware, premium snacks on every flight and free Wi-Fi across its Embraer E195-E2 fleet.
