EDMONTON — Flair Airlines has appointed veteran travel industry executive Nicole Bursey as President of Flair Vacations, a move the airline says supports the continued expansion of its vacation business and broader leisure travel ambitions.
Bursey joins Flair with more than 30 years of experience spanning vacation retail, distribution, commercial strategy, sales leadership and partner development.
“Nicole brings exceptional depth of experience and credibility across the travel industry,” said Len Corrado, CEO of Flair Airlines. “She understands this business deeply, from commercial strategy to the relationships and experiences that build trust with travellers. Bringing someone of Nicole’s calibre into the organization reflects both the momentum behind Flair Vacations and the future we’re building.”
Prior to joining Flair, Bursey joined the Project Expedition team in November 2025 as Head of Canada Agency Sales. She is also well known to Canadian travel advisors from her time at Transat, where she first worked as a sales representative from 1994 to 2001, then returned in 2009 to eventually serve as Commercial Director.
On her new role at Flair, Bursey said she’s excited to join the company at this stage in its evolution. “Travel is about experiences that stay with people for years to come, and there’s a tremendous opportunity to build vacation experiences that are connected to what travellers value most today. Flair has built strong momentum, and I’m looking forward to helping shape the next chapter of Flair Vacations alongside a passionate team and valued industry partners who will play an important role in our development.”
As President of Flair Vacations, Bursey will oversee the next phase of growth for Flair Vacations as the company continues to expand its vacation offerings, build industry partnerships and enhance the overall travel experience for Canadian consumers.
“Travel is personal, and the best vacation experiences are built around what matters the most to people,” Corrado added. “Nicole brings a strong understanding of both the commercial side of the business and the traveller experience itself.”
In addition to her executive leadership background, Bursey has also been active in industry advocacy and governance, serving with the Canadian Association of Tour Operators (CATO) and as a Board Director for the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO).
The appointment comes as Flair continues growing its presence in Canada’s leisure travel market through both air service and vacation packaging initiatives.
