MONTREAL — A message from Air France and KLM aims to reassure Canadian travellers that the two airlines will operate their full schedules from the Canadian market this summer.
“Based on the information currently available regarding fuel supply, Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines confirm that they will maintain their summer flight schedule from Canada. Reservations that have already been confirmed and paid for will not be subject to any fare adjustment related to an increase in fuel costs,” say the airlines.
The Canada-specific assurances come after Air France and KLM told international markets earlier this month that they do not anticipate any disruptions to fuel supplies this summer and will maintain their originally planned flight schedules.
At the height of the summer 2026 season Air France and KLM will operate a combined total of 100 flights per week from Canada to their European hubs. Air France will operate up to 60 flights from Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa and Quebec City to Paris, while KLM will offer up to 40 flights from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and Edmonton to Amsterdam.
Tickets booked on Air France and KLM .CA sites or through travel agencies in the Standard, Standard Plus and Flex fare classes can be changed once, without a change fee, for travel departing from Canada. If the fare for the new itinerary is higher, the fare difference will apply. This offer does not apply to Light fares (i.e. without checked baggage included).
