Air Transat now offers free on-demand entertainment on all its European flights

MONTREAL — Air Transat is now offering passengers free on-demand entertainment on all its European flights, and on most of its flights to Sun destinations.

“We continue to invest in the fleet in order to provide passengers with the best possible inflight experience in the country. After equipping our Airbus A330s with individual touch screens, we are pleased to offers passengers travelling on our Airbus A310s access to onboard individual entertainment through their own personal tablets, smart phones – iOS and Android – and laptops”, said Jean-François Lemay, General Manager of Air Transat.

The new service will be available through the aircraft’s WiFi system immediately after takeoff. All Air Transat flights to Europe provide passengers with free on-demand entertainment (films, TV shows and music) through individual touch screens on board Airbus A330s (with the exception of one aircraft) or via complimentary WiFi on board Airbus A310s.

Passengers travelling on an Air Transat Airbus will be able to choose the movie or TV show they feel like watching during the flight at no extra cost.

Instructions on accessing the on-demand entertainment system will be available on board the aircraft.
