Air Canada Vacations to launch Sun product at 7 shows across Canada

MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations is celebrating the launch of its 2015/2016 Sun Collection with its travel trade partners through a series of seven events, taking place across Canada this September.

Under the banner of a ‘dream makers’ theme (‘ACV Dream Makers’), the annual product showcase for agents and industry partners promises to be the brand’s most entertaining and memorable ever, said the operator.

Emphasizing the dreams of travel, and specifically the ‘dream makers’ – namely its travel agents and industry partners who bring those dreams to life and make them a reality – Air Canada Vacations will draw an estimated total of 2,000-plus of the Canadian travel trade to experience numerous highlights of its new Sun Collection.

The invitation-only events in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Halifax, begin Sept. 9, 2015.

Guests from coast-to-coast will have the opportunity to meet with many of Air Canada Vacations’ supporting tourism and hotel partners from the Caribbean, Mexico and the U.S. in the ‘Dream Makers Village’.

The Montreal (Sept. 9) and Toronto (Sept. 10) events will take place in the Air Canada hangars at Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport.

As an extra bonus for those due to attend the Montreal and Toronto events (approximately 1,500 guests in total), there will be the opportunity to tour an Air Canada rouge plane – the Boeing 767-300 in Montreal and the Airbus 319 in Toronto.

“We are all the ‘dream makers’,” says Amr Younes, Vice President, Sales, Air Canada Vacations. “Together with Canadian travel agents, our hotel partners, supporting tourism boards, Air Canada and Air Canada rouge, our industry has the privilege of making Canadians’ travel dreams a reality. Air Canada Vacations’ 2015/2016 Sun Collection is the gateway.”
