Air Canada Vacations, The Travel Corporation expand partnership

MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations has broadened its partnership with The Travel Corporation with a deal to promote and sell select U by Uniworld as well as Uniworld Boutique River Cruises sailings. Air Canada Vacations already features Uniworld Boutique River Cruises in its Europe brochure.

Altogether ACV will offer itineraries on rivers and waterways in more than 20 destinations across Europe, China, Russia, Egypt, India, Cambodia and Vietnam with the two TTC brands.

Last fall ACV, Trafalgar and Contiki announced that ACV would offer Trafalgar and Contiki product as well, offering 16 Trafalgar trips and 5 Contiki trips in its 2018 Europe Your Way Collection.

“Air Canada Vacations is constantly looking to innovate and provide customers with a wider choice of products and extraordinary experiences,” said ACV’s Managing Director, Nino Montagnese. “As experiential travel gains in popularity, the ability to offer travellers unique, flexible and authentic tours is a must. By bundling flights, accommodation and excursions, customers also benefit from cost savings.”

Last week U by Uniworld announced it was dropping its 21 – 45 age restriction and opening up its sailings to all adults.

With the ACV&ME loyalty program, travel agents who book hotels, cruises and groups to sun destinations will receive 600 points per room for packages of 7+ nights; 400 points per room for packages of 3–6 nights; 600 points per stateroom for air flight and cruise packages; and 300 points per passenger for Group bookings. ACV&ME loyalty points can be redeemed for Aeroplan Miles, travel vouchers or VISA cash cards.
