Air Canada rouge offers additional flights to Athens and Rome in MayTORONTO — In response to strong market demand, Air Canada rouge is offering additional nonstop flights to Europe in May 2014 from its Toronto and Montreal hubs, available for sale immediately.

From Toronto to Athens, Air Canada rouge will offer additional nonstop flights on May 14 and May 21. Additional nonstop flights will operate from Montreal to Athens on May 16 and May 19, and from Montreal to Rome on May 22 and May 23.

Toronto to Athens nonstop service runs until Oct. 14, up to five times weekly, and is the most frequent nonstop service from Toronto to Athens offered by any carrier. Air Canada rouge nonstop service from Montreal to Athens runs twice weekly until Oct. 13.

Air Canada rouge is the only carrier offering daily nonstop service during peak summer season from Montreal to Rome, providing an increase in frequency and capacity of over 60% compared to last year. Flights from Montreal to Rome run until Oct. 19.

Flights to Europe on Air Canada rouge are on a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, with three customer comfort options: rouge, rouge Plus with preferred seating with additional legroom, and Premium rouge with additional space and enhanced service.

In its 2014 Europe Collection, Air Canada Vacations offers a number of tours starting in Rome, including the Tuscan Discovery exploring Rome, Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and Cinque Terre. From Athens, customers can tour historical locations like the Acropolis, Delphi and Olympia, the site of the first Olympic Games. Air Canada Vacations also offers a variety of tours to the Greek Islands, including Santorini and Mykonos.
